      Great concept, poor leadership

      Pros

      Just cutting guys haircuts, uniforms and comfortable shoes, nice clean stores, easy computer system,

      Cons

      Pay plan isn't realistic unless you work in a high volume store. Open seven days a week long hours. No benefits such as dental or health insurance. Low hourly pay. Low tips just doing guys haircuts. Stores are owned by business men that have no clue about the hair business or being a hair stylist. Manager pay is horrible for the amount of work they have to do.

      Hard to make commission

      Pros

      Easy to work around schedules. Only doing haircuts so the maximum amount of time you are with a client is 30 minutes

      Cons

      The pay structure is to benefit the company- not the stylist so it is very difficult to make commission. You are encouraged to pick up speed but if you do too many clients in an hour, then your service dollars dip - causing you to get paid less. It makes no sense

      "Decent" work environment. Not really too bad but not the best I've worked at either.

      Cons

      Pay. From what I've seen they typically like to low ball people. Working in Georgetown seems like you get the worst of both worlds... less than Austin pay but still paying Austin level mortgage/rent...
