      Great company depending on the owners you work for

      The company is amazing and I’ve had amazing owners which have made working actually wait for it.. fun. With great commission

      Cons

      The owners make or break your experience. Ones are Very cult like. Almost impossible goals. Unfortunately they are acquiring more and more stores. They produce numbers clearly but you will sell your soul for next to nothing and get shamed if you fold a towel any way but the G****** way

      Good Starting Job

      Pros

      It is a good company for you to start in barbering. It is a good way to gain experience with haircutting and working with clients. Also if you are looking for more of a retail schedule this is a good option.

      Cons

      Sport clips has a speciifc buisness model that they require you to follow which is fine but it does not let you branch out as a professional barber. The company also in my opinion exploits you and does not pay a good wage opposed to you branching out and becoming an idependent contractor.

      I appreciate your review and time at Sport Clips. Your feedback is valuable and I will share this with the team. Every location is owned by a different franchisee therefore compensation varies by location. Men's haircutting is our focus for training, however it is not strictly "barbering". Many of our team members are cosmetologists. Every team member should have the opportunity to attend training in their market. Sport Clips does have a process to ensue that each client receives a championship experience and to provide a path to success for our stylists. However, there is plenty of opportunity to make things your own. Each person brings their own personality and process to the table. We celebrate that! I wish you the best!
