Pros

Great helpful management, got random bonuses, discount on family, free haircuts for yourself, decent hours, good company over all, relaxed feel, have celebrations for holidays, fun nights out w the girls( near 288 pearland location). if coming as a hair stylist there is great opportunity because its usually busy especially after 3pm and weekends

Cons

work with women so always have drama, if you receptionist you can be taken advantage of by stylist and blamed. You will be covered in strangers hair everyday... Itchy

Pros

Its a salon geared towards men so there are no chemical services. They are a great place to start working right out of cosmetology school. They train you to use their cutting system and it is very easy. Education and product information classes are provided.

Cons

Open everyday, so you don't get a steady schedule, have to meet sales goals, mostly women stylists so there may be some DRAMA!

Pros

The environment is fun and friendly. Comfortable uniforms. fast paced so you make good tips when we are busy.

Cons

you make $9 an hour a a stylist plus tips and that is it. There is an additional commission that can be made but it is very small and hard to obtain and is purely based on your clients decision so its hard to reach commission. no matter how long you work there you do not get a raise and there is no such thing as seniority here. They are really big on watching payroll so your hours fluctuate so much that you have no idea how much you will be making from one week to the next. There are no benefits at all. No sick days. You have a lot of goals that you have to maintain or you are put on probation so there is really no feeling of job security because there is always a threat looming that you are going to loose your job.
