Pros

The pay is good and certain campuses have good leadership.

Cons

The benefits are very pricey. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The administration leaves much to be desired and doesn't appear to think when it comes to testing (state and benchmarks). Tons of extra paperwork required when a student fails. Doesn't hold the student/parent accountable .

Pros

*Steady Work if you want it. *If looking to get into teaching subbing for the district and certain school's is a great way to get your foot in the door. *When subbing you get to choose the days (or half days) you want to work, and those you don't want to work.

Cons

*Kids are rough, really rough, especially the further south you go. I have to temper that with the fact that there are some absolute perfect adorable children as well. *Some teacher's don't have plans together, that makes for a terrible long and difficult day, happens I'd say 1/3 of the time.

There is nothing positive taht I can say at this moment-None

Cons

Stressful work environment, continuosly harrassed by administration team, lots of paper work, no support from administration team. You are promised support and Help but none are given. The school I am at is TITLE I school, which is part of why the environment is hard and stressful.
