Cares about their employees Even the title one schools receive decent funding Did a great job of recognizing top teachers for their hard work and dedication

Cons

Benefits are terrible (Health insurance is not very good. Almost best to get an outside vendor) Hard to get time off (as with any teaching job) District is still in early part of restructuring with new superintendent (but he is trying to really make it a top notch one)

Great salary and that's about it.

Cons

Long hours Poor management Micromanagement I've worked as a teacher for a few years previously while wearing jeans and t shirts everyday in my old campus. And guess what? We had way higher scores than the kids here, same demographics. Same poverty, same language barriers, same ethnicity. Instead of focusing on parent involvement and things proven to improve performance, they scrutinize your clothes and whiteboard.
