Pros

Customer-Centric Employee Centric Building a great product.

Cons

The biggest sin is their India hiring, especially top hiring. They don't know how to build, manage and scale the business. No understanding of India as a market.

Pros

Everybody has their own set of factors based on which they examine a company. I consider balance of these three. Compensation: I find my comp pretty good. Of course there will always be the case that some of your friends are below and some are above. But it doesn't mean your comp is not competitive. Learning: Apart from what you learn while doing BAU, Springboard has a separate budget of $1200 per person per year. And the great news is that this budget is not just limited to tech but it can be used for literally anything. Some people learnt driving. I took a horse riding class. Springboard already has paid subscriptions of many ed-tech platforms like frontend masters. I don't think there is any excuse for anybody to not grow. Work culture / work life balance: I believe the above point already tells a lot about work culture. One thing I really really appreciate about Springboard is "importance of communication". I personally have never felt that I'm being overloaded with work. It's normal to get stuck in some technicalities or some adhoc priority task but all we need to do is call out about the progress, what problems we are facing, and the task might take some more time. Everyone is supportive and everybody understands such situations. About the office: They spent a lot of time and energy in making the office space wonderful. When I first entered the office (both old and new), my mind said: I'll change the world. We used to work, chai on terrace, listen music in the evenings, have snacks. And helloooooo, everything taken care of by the company. I heard the concept of 1:1 here. This is not a unique thing. You have talks with your manager everywhere. Springboard has a culture of doing 1:1s with anyone in the company which makes it different. Never ever anybody stopped me from picking up tasks beyond my role. I can pick anything to learn and contribute at the same time. I can go on further but it's getting late now.....

Cons

As of now I don't have anything in mind to mention here.

Unclear expectations

Pros

Covid work from home Work Life Balance Lunch reimbursement

Cons

Management unclear on expectations from developers and testers. No focus on performance but everyone talks about culture. Exceptions made for people who have been in the company for long and are in good books of CTO/director. Nothing to learn and new policies are making role transitions hard. Overall good place for low performers who can follow processes
