"Reorganizations" which "let go" countless people. All hard-working dedicated people who had contributed to the success of the campus for decades.
Most people work in fear of not having a job the next day.
State funded position salaries not comparable to real world. Salary range not always based on experience but on degree.
After seeing the "reorganizations" devastate the campus and our team, I left on my own accord.
Was accepted to the first place I applied to with a 15k increase in salary. Everyone raves about my expertise and professionalism, it's nice to be recognized for a change. Friends still working at STCC say it technically took two people to replace me.
