St. Charles has a history of making some very poor history of staff relations and electronic medical record choices.

Good pay and reasonable benefits. Some departments are good to work for. Depends on supervisors.

Cons

Poor relations with middle management and caregivers. Difficulty with lateral job pursuance, in part to union contract language. EPIC EMR system purchased compromised patient care with massive budget cutting.

Good benefits. That's the only positive I can think of.

Cons

They constantly are changing things for employees no matter how long they've been in place or how unfair employees think it is. The ONLY thing that matters to SCHS is their budget. Instead of cutting the executives ridiculous salaries, they take from the already paid lower-than-average employee. They're ridiculous.
