Pros

Only working 3 days a week.

Cons

Too many chiefs, causes more confusion than need be. Not enough employees due to high turnover which makes the job harder for those who stick around. High stress job, and it’s not as good as the job description makes it sound. Very unrealistic expectations for those in this position. There are some good nurses to work with and most of the others not so much. The good nurses are usually those lower of the totem pole, therefore their actions don’t rub off on nurses that make it harder. It’s more of a gopher job than learning more about the ER. Which is sad as most techs want to be nurses or work in another healthcare profession.
