Pros

Public company with good accountability in the business depts (Finance, Marketing, Product, Operations, Customer Care). Run lean and we are still often inventing processes that many companies have already instilled or bought. This allows opportunities for innovation which sometimes can create some pretty interesting ideas. Besides that, the pay is good, the leaders as very approachable and its pretty calm and nice place to work. Most employees seem to care abut BOTH the company and customers so the priorities seem well aligned and folks are decently engaged in their jobs. The company even provides drinks and snacks, has a nice lunch room to promote cross functional conversation and tries its best to make things nice for employees. A Gym, Pool and Foosball tables too!

Cons

Dev/Tech dept run with little/no accountability or empowerment. Many folks in this dept just collecting paychecks which are way too high. It's almost strange to see that a company with so much accountability in other depts allows its core dept (as it is a software company) to atrophy and drag the rest of the company down as it does. It's very morale killing across all of the depts the work well above as its oft discussed but everyone feels helpless to their failures and we just try to work around them. Also, a small point that as many systems are left to design from the ground up allows for innovation but also hurts progress sometimes in 2 ways: 1) the solutions that we make are sometimes sub-optimal than best of breed as we are not SME in some cases and create something that is "good enough" but not the best we can deploy 2) as time is spent on these ancillary systems, these can impeded resource dedication to core goals/initiatives and delay teams from executing what's most important

Pros

No pros, except few free stamps. No pros no pros no pros no pros...

Cons

The list is huge and it's all because of the management, they hire people for short projects and they lie to them advertising the position as a long term. Once their task is done they will use cheap methods to make you leave
