Pros

Decent Pay and good vacation time. Some smart people, too, although they don't stay for long, due to a lack of opportunities and politics.

Cons

Very similar to the things we are hearing about with our Federal government. People are punished for pointing out inefficient things, like unused licenses, or expensive items that aren't needed. Many positions there need to be redefined in order to recognize their work. Other positions have zero function. Bring any of this up and you'll be in trouble. Two types of people that I noticed: 1) Performative Workers 2) those who do the heavy lifting and are highly qualified talent. Most likely not to get promoted and eventually leave for better options. The ones who are talented have options and leave. The ones who are not talented and do performative work stay. And ultimately they run the organization. Do the Math...after years of this you are left with an empty org of "yes" people who have no idea how to get things done. So, like always, they start a hiring blitz and the cycle continues. We bring in new talent, they stay for a year and bail when they realize they will not be rewarded for their efforts.

Pros

It’s a very weird place but if you like corporate jargon, you’ll be happy.

Cons

It’s a completely useless org with lots of money.

Pros

Good pay and "unlimited" paid time off

Cons

Not a serious place to work. Hire people that lack basic expertise. Treat employees like elementary school kids (name 3 things you learned from the this meeting). Higher level management is rude and condescending yet dedicate a year to training. They created an internal mobility department as a means to weed out employees that are not happy in their current position. There is no possibility for internal mobility. The interview process for this job was 3 months. By the end of the process that job I was offered was not even clear anymore.
