      Decent Company that is slowly improving

      Pros

      Vacation package is generous. They are slowly moving out of the dark ages and moving toward a more employee friendly environment, which includes flexible schedules and employee bonding events.

      Cons

      Private Family Owned Company that promotes within it's own family/friend circle whether deserved or not. Salaries are below average wage. Healthcare insurance package is lacking. No clear organization/reporting structure.

      Pros

      The work itself is fairly simple and easy. They provide on the job training.

      Cons

      They don't place people in positions based on what they are interviewed for. You can apply for a certain position with years of experience, be told that you are being hired for that position, but when you actually go in for your first day, they put you in whatever position they need filles at that time. Even if it is a position making less money. Then they tell people that they have to "move up" to the position and pay they were initially told they would be starting at. This isn't a unique experience by any means...

      40 hour plus. No weekend work and first shift

      Very little room for advancement. Raises aren't based off of performance. Benefits aren't the greatest

      Hello, Thanks for your review and suggestion on how to improve employee morale at the distribution center. We will do our best to roll the employee of the month program back out and implement growth strategies.
