Pros

Relatively flexible, good opportunity to meet new people

Cons

You have to block off a large amount of time in your week with no guarentee poeople will sign up for your slots (meaning you might not get paid but can't make any other commitments during that time)

Pros

Lots of staff resources, especially when compared to other universities Can move around once you are hired in Amazing campus - it's so beautiful The people on the whole are incredible - smart, change-makers, passionate

Cons

De-centralized - experience can vary (not standardized) and it feels disconnected at times Experience can vary greatly based on your manager or department They're making cuts to staff, pay increases, and benefits given the federal government policy implications. They toe the line when it comes to lower pay for many student affairs professionals - they could pay more.
