Pros
Pay is decent compared to many warehouse careers. VTO option is great as it’s easier for associates to receive days off. Company does provide Staple Bucks perks and an effort to show appreciation.And there’s a pay incentive in many depts for those that reach and e credit their pick/pack rate.
Cons
Work expectations can be quite difficult depending upon dept and volume determines amount of hours worked. It’s no definite time when associates or managers will leave for the day. Management cuts hours to make rate but it only makes the job longer and harder for others. Upper manage only value veterans and don’t usually pick the most qualified individual for promotions. Many upper mgmt are lazy, not fit for the position, and do not help their supervisors.
