Pros

I worked with a great team and my General Manager was good to me while I was there that’s the only Pro

Cons

Company overworks its employees & expects employees to work multiple departments for the same pay & consistently adds more jobs as they experiment with 3rd party companies which puts lots of stress on management and associates.

Pros

The experience. All the experience you learn in the retail store will be used forever everywhere and anywhere you go from time management to knowing your priorities etc. Meeting lots of new people, good and bad. Sometimes free pizza and restaurant.

Cons

Not well paid for what you do. A lot of times you won't even be in your own department because you have to be everywhere else. You will do A LOT for minimal pay and not even getting recognized by your superior. When the resident tech has to take out garbage from cafeteria and cleaning the toilet floor to doing the facing when he has 5 laptops from customers who has paid for an express service, let's just say that's what I meant by not using your personnel correctly. Plus they do more work than those of Geek Squad + Connect Pro and their pay is the same as the lowest technician from those store (best buy future shop). Lots of cafeteria talks, people talking behind everyone else's but this is mainly because of the managers. Speaking of managers, giving 37-40 hours to a personnel but in their file they are a part-time so they don't have the benefit of a full-time and the employee would never find out. Advancement is very hard.
