Good place to work, but there are downsides

Pros

The pay is fairly good but other technicians like at Best Buy get 2 or 3 more dollars an hour. The environment can be fun but they definitely focus on selling and protect plans as a main goal.

Cons

They push protection plans too hard and make the selling environment way to tense. Also as a computer tech, be prepared to sell, restock products, clean bathrooms, etc. You won't just be working on computers.

Great to handle new technologies. Employees keep a sense of community between each other.

Cons

Leadership is always irritable, and it trickles down. Management scrutinizes and micromanages everything. You cant help but feel Staples doesnt want to pay you your worth, yet expects you to do everything.

its was very intense sales because the expect you sell plans allday and you dont get anything for doing that.

co workers were nice pretty calm enviroment(when its not back-to-school) get to interract with cool customers get cool stuff for selling pens of the month

Cons

lack of pay equality and its very hard for you to be noticed. they give you a horrible discount if you dont sell then they take hours from you
