      Not a bad starter job

      Pros

      It is a good starter job as you get to learn some print tech things, such as running certain softwares such as Publisher or Adobe Photoshop, which can translate as a skill into other fields.

      Cons

      You don't get breaks, While you work a little more flexible than a sales associate, there isn't usually a designated break time (you work it out between coworkers), or depending on the location, there isn't anyone to cover your break if there's not enough people. Also, Amazon shipping can be really frustrating if you are busy doing orders at Copy and Print and there isn't someone who can take Amazon returns.

      Pros

      I like my coworkers and many of my customers. I get a lot of exposure to local businesses and events, and it’s rewarding to produce print products that I and the customers are proud of.

      Cons

      Hours are cut to the extent that we often have two people running the whole store, leaving me to run the copy center as well as checkout, shipping, and returns (including Staples returns, Amazon returns, Express returns, and Happy returns). We are also expected to politely, adequately, and timely serve all of our customers while doing all of those jobs at once.
