Pros

Good experience, flexible hours. It really helps you learn to be a jack of all trades, as you have to work in both sales and repairs.

Cons

The pay is relatively low compared to others companies with tech programs. As a easy tech personnel you are not focus only on repairing hardware. You have to also work on inventory, cashiering, everything else.

Pros

IF you are lucky enough to have a good operations manager / sales manager / General Manager then your time at staples will be great. You will learn a great deal about business in general and lots of the finer points detailing the running of a large million dollar store successfully.

Cons

Many of the sales managers / operations managers are outright lazy and lack leadership skills. I've had the misfortune of working with two such managers. Picking up their slack for over a year and seeing very little to no recognition for the fact that I lead my team with amazing results. (Results not possible without my team) Still waiting around for a promotion but actively looking for a better job on the side. Staples needs to open their eyes and make better staffing decisions. Stop bringing in people from outside before you look to see what talent you have inside.
