Pros

Great benefits. Great partners if you hire well.

Cons

Some DM's are not realistic. Turnover is high There is no life / work balance in my district and sm turnover is high. Getting call outs at 4am for a 430am shift means getting dressed fast. Lets hope you didn't close the store at 11:30pm. Partners at all level are understaffed.

Pros

- friendly/hard working employees - fast paced (time flies by when working) - free drinks during your shift/free food items for lunch breaks - great for social people because you are always talking to customers - cash tips each week - markout each week

Cons

- shifts are at weird times (3:15-9:30pm) - the opening shift is at 4:30am - standing the whole time

Pros

Working at Starbucks is fun and interactive. The benefits are good and I believe the company truly care about their partners.

Cons

Starbucks does a great job with offering education benefits but is horrible when it comes do employees development. Once barista have degrees there are no incentive to stay with the company
