Pros

They provide health benefits for most part-time partners. Incredibly close-knit, family-like relationships can be built. A free pound of coffee, box of tea, or via every week is a benefit to all partners. Thirty-percent discount at all company-owned stores. Tuition reimbursement is available to some partners.

Cons

Depending on your store/district/region, things can get incredibly political. Choose words wisely when speaking with upper management. While they do offer health benefits to most part time partners, they do not guarantee the amount of hours required to receive these benefits. Pay raises are almost never good, the performance review scale is oddly skewed. Thirty percent discount is not given at licensed stores (i.e Kroger, Target... etc.)
