Pros

They offered benefits to parttime employees. Technically, they still do...but good luck getting past the 20 hours a week minimum you need to qualify for them.

Cons

The customers are irritating as hell and impatient. It's a thankless job, and we're walked on by not only those we serve, but our fellow partners.

Pros

The overall, day to day work is pretty fun. When working with the right staff things hum along smoothly and a good time is had by all. You will meet all sorts of interesting people and you will have the respect of your customers, something you'd not have at other food service type companies. The job is worth it for the benefits offered. Best medical plan i've ever had.

Cons

Tip sharing is a complete rip off. Upper management is stretched thin which makes getting noticed for advancement difficult to the extreme. You'll likely go 6 months or more at a time without being able to communicate and be noticed by those responsible for your advancement. Figuring out what the particular DM needs and looks for would take years if you had the same DM for that long which is unlikely. Its like trying to hit a target which is always changing while you're blindfolded.
