Pros

Starbucks has great benefits, and they try to empower their employees.

Cons

Sadly, the 'bux has become a good ole boys club, and they hire way too many from outside vs. inside promotion. They have lost the vision of what they are. Starbucks is coffee! They are trying to be everything else too. NO CAN DO.

Pros

The best reason to work for Starbucks is that they care about even part-time employees. As long as you average 20 hours a week, you get benefits. It's great for people who need benefits or supplementary income.

Cons

The work can be very repetitive, it opens early and the hourly pay isn't great.

Cons

the company seems to be having a hard time adjusting to the changing economy and recession. they are making rash decisions, without realizing what the outcomes will mean to the community and their partners.
