Pros

Benefits are better than you will find in almost any other company at an entry level position. Great opportunity to interact with your local community.

Cons

Very busy holiday schedule. Long hours of being on your feet. Early morning shifts, very early morning. Lots of cleaning chemicals.

Pros

The benefits are amazing for only working part time, the coworkers are hilarious, and people are mostly happy when you give them coffee and a smile.

Cons

It's much harder work than it looks like and people get to treat you anyway they feel like. If people are very rude for no reason, YOU have to apologize to them and make everything nice. It just reinforces bad behavior.

Pros

Health benefits for part-time employees. Advancement possibilities. Fairly easy, little stress. Fun. Work with interesting people. Meet a lot of people.

Cons

No cons for working at Starbucks. It's fun and fairly easy once you get used to the job. I like Starbucks.
