      --Opportunities to work on research in a variety of hearing, health, and fitness areas. --Opportunities to work with people from a variety of hearing science and engineering backgrounds. --Opportunities for presenting, publishing and patenting (although sometimes this has to be done on your own time). --Some travel. --Some support for licensure and professional membership fees.

      --It can be challenging to advance in this position given the frequent turn-over in management and department restructuring.
