      Pros

      The campus is nice. Co-workers are great.

      Cons

      Before accepting any offer, ask about working nights and weekends. I was never told about about that. And it's expected. Unless you want to be made to feel guilty. Starkey will run salary employees into the ground because they can. They can get all the hours they want out of you without paying you a cent more or giving you a day off in return. Effort, hard work, and going "above and beyond" is not acknowledged.

      - lack of leadership; difficult to get clarity on project goals and outcomes - toxic work environment; very political

      They employ some genuinely kind people with good hearts.

      Cons

      They do not care about the CS space at all. Applications are dated. Processes are dated. Some information is only held within the mind of a single person. Cross team communication can be a nightmare. Not every team operates with compassion and kindness. Only 10 minute breaks.
