Pros
Hard work is rewarded at Starkey. The company like's self starters with a winning, team first mentality. Our company VP has said many times "be good to the company, and the company will be good to you." In my experience, this could not be more true. Starkey looks for people who have positive attitudes and see the overall big picture of where their career can go years from now rather than the immediate future.
My advice, if you are new to the hearing aid industry, learn about what is currently happening in the industry. Learn about how it's being consolidated and streamlined into Big Box retailers like Costco, and how this is having a negative impact on the small independent business model and, most importantly, patient welfare. This is a battle Starkey is fighting, as we are the only American based global hearing aid manufacturer.
Starkey is a unique company that is not always perfect, but they treat their employees well and provide every opportunity to have a very successful, rewarding, long-term career.

A few rotten apples in the bunch, who have negative attitudes and tend to gossip and probably need a fresh start somewhere else.
