Pros

- Hearing Aids and accessories provide interesting technical problems to solve. - Work from home flexibility has been very positive since COVID. - Opportunities to work with variety of teams and great people - Occasional appearances by the Dalai Lama and Gene Simmons - PTO is pretty good after year 3

Cons

- Read older reviews here from R&D people: nothing has changed in years, despite what leadership says. - Management makes little to no progress solving issues related to process, culture, or product quality - Leadership sets development goals that are un-achievable - Product quality is second to release schedule - Project scope increases every 2-3 months, then shrinks dramatically as the reality of immature features sets in immediately prior to release. - Constant Continuation Engineering efforts squash product development - No career development path or mentorship - Base pay is underwhelming at best - Promotions and raises are few and far between

Pros

Will hire with no sales experience.

Cons

They work you like a work horse. They do not care about you having a work/life balance. PTO = Pretend Time Off in their eyes. No company car and the reimbursement for travel, when using your own care, is a joke. Be prepared to lose money. No company cell phones. Your customers will always be able to reach you because they have your own number. Unless you move to their HQs, you can't move up within the company. Company moral is always low. The company is NOT transparent and only cares about their VPs, higher ups and the last name.

Pros

Very flexible on working from home, especially in software development. Flexibility when necessary on the job. The company will make sure you have tools you need to your job (i.e. sending you an android and iPhone to test apps on them, multiple monitors, etc.). Very innovative company. Pay is fine given the position. Management seems down to earth and I've felt above average as far as being comfortable talking to my boss and other management is concerned

Cons

I can't think of any right now
