Pros

Decent pay Benefits Hours (M-F) Occasionally offered OT Merit bonus

Cons

Short staffed Expectation of doing other people’s work Extremely high claims caseload Coworkers always out on FMLA due to stress Unrealistic expectations and metrics for example they want you to close 60+ claims per month but you do not get credit if the claim is reopened. Claims can be opened for just about anything like an email. Some demand pools are expected to handle litigation (arbitrations and lawsuits)

Pros

Coworkers can be fun and very helpful. Good people work here.

Cons

Helicopter management. Everything is tracked, every second of idle time, every call you make, every message you send on teams. Awful PTO policy. Needing to request almost a year out to get a day you want off. Unforgiving and often rude customers with non stop phone calls. Feels like a call center.
