Pros
Working for State Farm is nice inasmuch it's a Fortune 50 company that has all the benefits and career nurturing helps with adequate pay (including bonuses, yearly local COLAs, etc.).
Cons
Job security is not as assured as one might think with such a big company, so compliance to call center metrics will be more rigorously enforced after about 9 months since the corporate go-to of workforce reduction to make a quarter look better will be applied (especially in Texas) --and they're not above changing the goal posts on talk-time to eliminate otherwise perfect seasoned customer service professionals.
