Pros

Overall everything is good, your coworkers are amazing and supervisors are nice and understanding. They remind you to use benefits and know what they are. They offer education that the company pays for and bonuses if you complete it. Good DEI.

Cons

There is over time, some of it is mandatory on saturdays. some pto blackout days. especially around holidays.

Pros

Decent pay, hybrid WFH, and a predictive bonus even for the horrible sloppy people smh! You get your adjusters license. Foot in the insurance world door. Mandatory overtime.

Cons

My current manager or “Lead” said in Teams, “threatening is the BEST policy!” Then she’s always boasting about being “protected” and “untouchable”. It sucks cause she is the biggest micromanaging story ever. So gauche! She then literally threatened us cause someone told the public about SF supporting LGBTQ community in a volunteer event she was a part of and said she was upset cause we lost a lot of customers and that whoever exposed this information will be found! EMPHASIZED THE “Will be found” and stated “they’re going down”. I don’t understand the whole big deal about the info being exposed if it was a volunteering event. Like that’s for the good of the community regardless of sexual orientation or gender! So I’m really thrown off. I feel like she threatens. I was sick in the ICU 2 months and the same week I came back she brought up my call times. I hadn’t even been in the swing of things into the week! She threatens that if it doesn’t change like yesterday I’m going to have a big problem. It really makes me upset cause 1 she’s unprofessional 2. I feel like she’s tossing around the LGBTQ card for her advantage when nobody is discriminatory towards her more like she is threatening towards us 3. I stated multiple times that training was not good at all that we would ask questions and we’d get reprimanded and told “what DON’T you understand what’s so hard about it or to understand?” Our trainers used to laugh at people, if you didn’t get it they’d make fun of you! Training is the worst on the floor the PA3s think it’s a big joke to make fun of people who don’t get it and even tell you stuff like “if you don’t get it after I explain something to you then it’s not a me problem it’s a you problem!” Who the heck does something like that! So don’t expect support from ARROGANT trainers, PA3s, or even Team Leads. One of my colleagues told me she’s sorry but it’s quality over quantity and focus on getting things right and that it takes awhile to get in the swing of things cause there’s so much to learn and there are so many one off situations or calls. I was also told to just go with whatever my current supervisor says is right cause they all say different things and some aren’t even right but they’ll make it hard for you if you don’t do it their way even if it isn’t the right way. She said it’s sad cause so many good people come and end up leaving cause the so called structure is chaos. Poor training structure, unprofessional and hostile managers and training staff, high turnover rates cause transfer freezes, good insurance plan is insanely expensive premiums and to the contrary of how you’d think has a high deductible, no employee retention if a manager mistreats you. My colleague also ADMITTED TO me that my boss told her and another person that she “doesn’t care if I’m good to the customers or how nice I am, I’ve never liked her and I will ensure she goes NOWHERE but out! WHAT can she do? I’m protected!” I want to report this so bad but I don’t want to bring my colleague into a hard situation but I do have her message remarks. Everyday micromanaging Molly will meet about a fart in the wind.
