      Completely Disappointed

      Pros

      Financial strength of the company, solid environment to learn about insurance and different products offered, many people of different backgrounds and education levels can get their start here

      Cons

      Growth opportunity and advancement is slim to none, not much training was provided, no 401K contribution available, terrible health insurance (but I'm sure this also depends on the specific agent you work for), poor salary

      - Job opportunities IF you're willing to relocate - Good starting salary - Benefits package

      Cons

      If you happen to get on the bad side of management, which I happened to do with the section manager, you are not going to go anywhere. It does not matter if your work product is excellent and you are ambitious and hardworking. People are not held accountable for poor work product and you will need to commit gross misconduct to get fired. I am being borderline harassed by my section manager because of the preconceived notion that I "socialize" without taking a look at my work product or customer service skills. Also, they look down upon you if you want to move up but do not want to relocate.
