Pros
Great atmosphere, great stability and good compensation. All of the benefits are amazing. The company is focused on the promise all the way through the employees. We consider the money we need to spend the policyholder's dollars. Being both an employee and a policyholder, I respect that. Also State Farm is a Mutual Insurance company, which means there are no stocks or stockholders. All policyholders own the company. Don't have to worry about what the market thinks of us to do our job. We focus on the policyholders and what is best for the company.
Cons
Is a large company, can be frustrating on how slow it moves. While additional vacation is given at 5 years, then nothing until 15 years, no additional vacation at 10 years can be a de-motivator. Such small things listed here have to mean something good.
