      Pros

      As of right now i'm on a contract with a temp agency, but was notified i'm more than likely going to be picked up permanently from State Farm. It's a great job! From what I was briefed on, there is plenty of room for movement and growth, from Claims Rep, to ISR which is Internet Service and Support for statefarm.com, CCR which is catastrophe claims and even further, like an claims adjuster/inspector to agent. Awesome benefits, corporate discounts, etc....

      Cons

      None that I can think of just yet, other than maybe it could get repetitive for you but no call is the same.

      Loved my job when they respected their employees, but unfortunately 20 years later that is no longer the case.

      Pension 401k Medical - good benefits

      Cons

      State Farm has moved too fast on consolidating regional operating centers in an attempt to save money. Unfortunately, this has been at the expense of policy holders. They have lost experienced employees and cannot provide timely service to customers. They have even had to go as far as rehiring employees as temps in original office areas to process a backlog of work. Overtime is mandatory for those that chose to relocate. Way to burn out employees! Employees are no longer valued...Work life issues...sorry can't help you.
