Pros

Basically get paid to have fun and entertain kids all day! Outside all day during the summer Meals provided Young Hires Paid break and lunch Fun environment

Cons

Pay is a lot less then every other job in the actual State Farm Building. While many college students who intern at State Farm make up to 14-15 dollars an hour, you start at $7.50/hr your first year.

Pros

Great agent with the #1 auto and home insurer. You can build up pleanty of paid vacation and sick time. Make as much as you can sell. If you are not wanting to ask for sales you won't make enough money to be happy.

Cons

From an agency team member standpoint there's no way to "move up", but it's a great way to build a resume representing a great company.

Pros

The job security seems great. I have only been with my agent for about a year, but it seems like everywhere I go, people have been with State Farm in one capacity or another for 5, 10, 15, 20 years, and longer. The company is great -

Cons

It is hard to move from one agent to another if you aren't satisfied. When you work for an agent, you are an employee of that agent, not of State Farm.
