Pros

Benifits package, and job security.

Cons

Unstable work scheduel and the always looming whats going to happen next. It is hard to do your job when you have no idea what is going to happen next. The job security is there but knowing what department you will be in next or what team is a rough way to work.

Pros

Job stability. State Farm being the largest auto insurer in the nation is not going anywhere! State Farm also has a great benefit package.

Cons

A person cannot succeed in this company on their own merit. One succeeds based on who they know and how much they kiss up to management. Raises are based on how well your manager likes you... not at all on your accomplishments. State Farm is not consistent throughout. Some employees may feel like they get free time to spend with their children. But that is because they do not work in Auto Claim Central(ACC). In ACC a person has to work7-3:30, 8-4:30, 9-5:30 and 12:30 -9, so there is not much flexibility. Often employees will have to work all 4 shifts in one week.
