Pros

Pay is decent and not as bad as the impression that seems to exist unless you're comparing to Silicon Valley; work-life balance is fair but not as great as the impression that seems to exist; nice corporate facilities.

Cons

Flex-time policies vary widely within departments and individual teams. How well you're liked by your manager, how far you live from the office, and whether you have a family are the biggest factors. If granted, it doesn't mean you can vary your work schedule occasionally to take care of personal matters. It means that you pick a start and end time and stick to it. If you need to arrive or leave early, you take time off. Also, workforce definitely slants older. Younger workers are harder to recruit in Bloomington and they often do not stay if they do come. Location is actually probably the biggest con. Unless you have a family or have family in town, you will not fit in and there is nothing to do socially around the town. SF needs to cut the cord and fade out of Bloomington.

Pros

Phenomenal place to work, Its an ideal company to work for. If you get the chance to work at corporate, you should jump at the chance, you will learn from the best. Process and Procedure are key to make "The Farm" work. Time off is industry leading, and benefits are quite generous. All around a great place to work.

Cons

If necessary its a monster to slow down, once set on course, and almost impossible to turn around, things have to be followed through to conclusion. can be a con, but can be a pro as well.
