Pros

I enjoyed the people and the managers (especially the hire you go) were very knowledgeable and usually pretty good at their jobs. The people are the main thing that made me stick around.

Cons

The pay is horrible which is why the company's turnover rate is so high. There are some that make this place a career, but it seems to serve as a farm system for better paying companies.

Pros

Abundance of knowledge gained & looks good on your resume

Cons

Underpaid and overworked w/ high turn around. If you are receiving a decent salary you realize you have limitations on other opportunities as the other dept. wont accommodate your salary due to budgets. So you continue to get good PPR with a slither of hope you wont be stuck in your existing department while waiting like a sitting duck to get laid off. Don't worry SS will rehire you but not any where near what you were previously earning.
