Pros
Good health insurance, 3 weeks paid vacation Some colleagues were really helpful if you wanted to learn more about private equity and why we were doing the work that we were doing.
Cons
Long hours, hard to make plans outside of work when you might need to work late into the evening, even on friday nights and weekends. Pay was below market and not enough to live anywhere near the office. The job required learning a lot of outdated systems including a green screen type program from the 80's. Learning the total functionality of these systems was a multi year process.
