Pros

State Street proves that it's better to work for a large company than a small startup or no-name shop. Great perks, people, and autonomy. Too many meetings, but that is true most places. Outside of meetings you are left alone to get your work done, a big plus.

Cons

Pay is low. Too many meetings, and the bank is a bit of a dinosaur - things move slowly. If you have ways to keep yourself busy this is not a problem. If you get bored easily or don't have interests outside of work, or can't pickup extra projects related to work, it could be a problem.
