      Pros

      This place is very relaxed, depending on your department. Usually work is a little slow, so leaving you time to browse the internet for a while, however when its busy, you are SWAMPED! Work is not very challenging but fun.

      Cons

      Pay is very low compared to competitors such as Keybank, JP Morgan Chase, Commerce Bank etc. most of those companies are starting off at 40k where as Statestreet is starting 28K in KC. Most of my co-workers have two jobs

      Pros

      Great starting point, you can learn the back office business very quickly. Retirement benefits are good and colleagues are pleasant.

      Cons

      Pay is pathetic, bonuses and yearly reviews are HIGHLY politicized based on executive management. General training level and knowledge levels are low in USIS.

      great corporate learning and development, great place to learn and gain experience

      Cons

      worked so many hours @ such LOWEST pay EVER in the industry. My team: because they are over-worked and really under paid... everyone is not happy at state street and they don't treat each other nicely. kinda sad.
