State Street Response

Thank you for your response. I was glad to see your comment and agree with you that our people and work environment are some of the benefits of working at State Street. State Street is committed to recruiting and retaining top talent. Understanding the importance of providing opportunities for professional development, earlier this year we updated our internal mobility policy to make it easier for employees to apply for new roles. Additionally, through our employee resource groups and partnerships with other organizations, employees can volunteer and get involved in group projects to further enhance their current skillsets. Finally, we recognize the importance of work/life balance and have made significant strides in this area. In addition to flexible work arrangements, we have increased the amount of paid time off for parental leave. Also, employees now receive an additional paid holiday which can be used for their birthday. In the future, if you return to State Street, I would encourage you to have a discussion with your manager to understand what opportunities are available within the organization and what can be done to provide you with more challenging work. -Christopher Thornton, Assistant Vice President, Leadership Development Program
