Pros

Worked in the Dublin office for a year and a half. Good facilities (cafeteria, kitchen etc.). Good place to start out in fund accounting/ career out of college, having State Street on your C.V. is a big plus for future employment. Work/Life balance can be good, depending on which area you're in. There was a very sociable crowd where I was, always people around to go for a drink on a Friday after work and very often organised nights out with large groups of people.

Cons

Very poor starting salary, doesn't get much better as far as I am aware, based on anecdotal evidence. My opinion is that State Street do not look after their staff well at all, especially in the Dublin office. Found management difficult to deal with.
