Pros

Decent pay for a summer intern, easy work environment, a decent entry onto a resume for a person in college.

Cons

No transferable skills, management is very lackluster, didn't have much work for the interns, program seemed sloppy and mismanaged. I would not work there.

Pros

lots of down time on the floor, you can do quite a few personal things depending on which group you are in. vacation time is very flexible, mostly because others can cover for you easily, which also means you will have to cover for others if they are on vacation, or quit...

Cons

pay is way too low comparing to other firms, BNY mellon pays almost 30% higher, it is impossible for STT to retain talents in fund accounting, though it doesnt really matter now since they are outsourcing most of the fund accounting to India.
