Pros

Profitable, Growing Corporation. Opportunities to move around company. (limited)Opportunities to work/travel abroad. Generally laid-back atmosphere. Flexible work arrangements. Decent job security in most areas (for a bank...) Middle management is friendly and supportive. Lots of learning opportunities for the self-motivated. Boarder-line casual/business casual dress code for many. 6% 401k Match, with many investment options to choose from. Entry level jobs are easy to obtain. In normal economy, 3% raise/bonus a year for most employees. $5,250 tuition reimbursement per year (must stay with company 1 year from reimbursement)

Cons

Embarrassing salaries for most employees. Promotions can be difficult (Especially in operations/fund accounting departments) Internal movement can be difficult without Networking. HR seems to hinder career growth/compensation instead of helping. Not a good place to start career if you plan on staying for more than 2 years. Many times need to leave company and come back later to earn senior promotion. In normal job market - very high turnover. Many employees uneducated.

Pros

Encourages learning, diverse set of projects or applications to work on, emphasis on technology, pretty decent working hours, and good benefits.

Cons

Since this is a large company, there is a certain amount of red tape you must tolerate. Many people have worked there for years, and if you are new, it could be hard to fit in with some.
