      Pros

      This was my first internship and I got it through a program in high school. The pay was good for a high school student. The work was easy.

      Cons

      The job was boring. I worked in the mail processing department and they were overstaffed as there wasn't much work to be done.

      Great people Good stability for financial services firm Good comp for mid-senior level jobs

      Cons

      50% growth targeted for outside of US and lower cost locations - not ideal for US employees Projects are executed many times without flushing out all of the small details that can cost big in the long run.

      Pros

      I have had a very positive experience working at State Street. They have a knack of gathering great employees who share the same goals which leads to lots of fun and team spirit. You also gain access to global assignments which is great for your career and variety.

      Cons

      Sometimes difficult working for a US company in terms of decision making otherwise working at State Street has been one of my favourite jobs.
