Pros

State Street has a laid back and easy going workplace environment. One can pretty much buy a ticket for retirement. This company being one of the largest financial services institutions in New England, it carries lots of government support too.

Cons

There is not much of creativity. Most of the management have lived their lives here, and are old school.

Pros

State Corporation is a great place to get started in the industry if you don't have any experience. However, if you do have a good idea of where you are going and some years working in financial services under your belt, you're probably better off trying a smaller firm that will offer better benefits and a quality of life.

Cons

State Street underpays. Plain and simple.
