Pros

A consistent paycheck Benefits are comparable to other large companies

Cons

Skeleton crew departments--departments are way understaffed Be prepared to work your tail off with little chance to get a raise--review system is a joke lack of reward/recognition system...it was taken away with nothing to replace it lack of quality management--managers will hold meetings just for the sake of having meetings with little being actually accomplished too much management--manager titles are thrown around like confetti, there are some managers who manage 2-3 people, some don't manage any work is consistently being outsourced to China, India, and Phillipines company has lost its focus--it's all about increasing the bottom line, clients aren't even an afterthought If you aren't brown nosing someone, there's not much room for advancement--more of a chance of getting laid off than getting promoted Company is very cheap---have to pay $2 a week for jeans day Friday, there will probably be no Christmas party as a cost saving initative...coffee maker was taken away since it was getting too costly

Pros

Good health insurance Parking (except it is not free).

Cons

I went from having a completely uninvolved manager to a micromanager. This place is a joke. It is data entry at best. I understand so many are desperate, and will take any job with the current economic conditions, but please, don't make the same mistake as me. The work is boring, repetitive, and most departments are the same - except for managers, that is. My current manager is suffocating and she wants to constantly communicate and be the best of friends. In fact, one manager considered us all "family." No! The entire department gives me little room to breathe.
