Pros

1. ability to meet lots of people and receive mentorship. open, transparent work culture 2. great place to learn strong microsoft outlook/excel skills 3. ability to move up and grow. plenty of opportunities to move laterally as well.

Cons

1. Un-flexible working hours that can often be long (work from home access helps with this issue) 2. High turnover creates a constant training environment, which in turn creates stress and then in turn more turnover 3. strained communication between different departments/locations due to company being to large. 4. Company seems very reactive to the economy. Prone to lay offs and outsourcing.

Pros

Plenty of room for growth and development. Many young professionals with adequate credentials, who are available for networking and skills leveraging. Quality of management can be hit or miss depending on the group you work in and can range from exceptional to less than desirable. Work/Life balance is pretty good considering potential work from home days and ample vacation time.

Cons

Lower end of compensation within global services. Very difficult to make the transition from global services to global advisors.
