Pros

Don't remember any of Pros

Cons

- Old technology stack - Small overlaping with US zone (be ready to work extra hours or start later if you are in Europe) - VPN/Netword issues on State Street side (if you want to download some installers you need to ask someone to pack them first and put them to share folder otherwise you can wait for 2-3 hr when download will be completed) - Very old and complex product - No sonar checks so everyone can commit everything to break application build - Be ready to test not only your changes but changes of your teammate even if you are software engineer (we have only 1 QA that was shared between teams) - Once you did some change in application code you need to run unit-tests to be sure that everything is working as expected. Thats totally fine but full unit-test run can take 40-60 minutes. - No work-life balance Once I left this company I got an email from payroll team that I need to pay some money back due to their mistake. No excuse from their side. I can't recommend this company.

State Street Response

Thank you for leaving this review. We are sorry to hear about the challenges were are facing. We are sorry to hear about your long working hours. State Street is a global company growing at a fast pace. At times the work pressure is unpredictable. However, we strive to facilitate work-life balance. We also plan for various employee engagement programs throughout the year. We always encourage our employees to reach out to their manager and ask for additional support to help work more productively without experiencing a stressful time on the project. However, we have noted your feedback and will look into it.
