Pros

There is basically no work to do from May-November which is very nice. This job can be a good thing to get some basic experience and put on your resume.

Cons

While your coworkers are hardworking and intelligent, they are mostly miserable and underutilized in their position. There are some reviews on here that have 5 stars and say “great place to work” with the only con being “lack of professionalism from junior associates”. These reviews are very clearly bot posts from upper management who are trying to mask all the terrible reviews on this site, which ironically is a laughable lack of professionalism on their part and highlights what is wrong with this place. For starters the work is essentially data entry, which for some may be fine. However, upper management (besides immediate supervisors) makes no effort to engage or talk with the junior employees who are doing all the grunt work for the company and does not do much to make this a collaborative and healthy workspace. Although they are making some efforts recently (although these are bare minimum standards compared to actually functional workplaces), the efforts are not enough. Overall, if you just want a paycheck and don’t mind slaving away from December-April doing mind numbing work and then doing essentially nothing the rest of the year then this job can be just fine. If you want to advance in your career, learn how to be a professional, and gain useful information and experiences that you will take with you going forward, then stay away from this place.
